Interfaith Week 2023

In order to celebrate Interfaith Week (12th-19th November), which is designed to

 

•  Strengthen good inter-faith relations at all levels

•  Increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK and their contribution to society

•  Increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs

 

...the LCSB invited speakers of different faiths to lead Early Morning Prayer at 6.45am.

We are very grateful to Erik Pearse, who has been a member of Wolverhampton Interfaith,

for putting together this programme.

 

Monday:            Mike Johnson, regular attendee at Early Morning Prayer, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints

Tuesday:            Parveen Brigue, Former Chair of Interfaith Wolverhampton, Hindu

Wednesday:      Brian Franks, LCSB Friend, Jewish

Thursday:          Bhajan Devsi, Long term member of Interfaith Wolverhampton, Sikh

Friday:               Shaykh Asim Yusuf, Muslim Scholar in Wolverhampton, Muslim
