Easter 2024 - Cross Walks
A Cross Walk, or Holy Week pilgrimage, is a unique experience to journey together across the beautiful Welsh countryside, carrying a wooden cross together. It is a walk of witness, a chance to build new friendships in faith, while preparing to celebrate the Easter Triduum with the Lay Community of St Benedict at Cefn Lea Park, Dolfor, mid-Wales.
Our Cross Walk starting from Wolverhampton is for any young adults (age 18-35). Cost per person: £75-£85 depending on numbers. We plan to meet in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, on Saturday 23rd March, and start walking from there on Sunday 24th March. If you have any queries about this walk, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Cross Walk starting from Shrewsbury has shorter days than traditional Cross Walks, to make it more manageable for people of all ages. Cost per person: £75-£85 depending on numbers. We plan to meet in Shrewsbury on Sunday 24th March, and the walk will start on Monday 25th March. You also have the option to join for just a couple of days, if you can't do the whole walk. If you have any queries about this walk, please contact: email@example.com
Each walk is supported by a minibus (carrying our luggage, and providing food and snacks during the day). Accommodation will be in church halls and village halls, so you will need to bring a sleeping bag and sleeping mat with you. If you cannot join the whole walk, but are interested in joining part of it, you can indicate which days on the booking form.
